Day 22-into El Paso Texas

Today we rode through some beautiful New Mexico countryside of pecan groves and cotton fields. The backdrop of the mountains was stunning in the morning light.

We had great coffee at The Bean Mesilla, just outside Los Cruces.

Along we chatted to a cotton farmer. He and his wife had a roadside chilli stand and we ate jujubees from their tree.

We crossed into Texas - all riding stronger after 3 weeks in the saddle. We are having a unbelievable experience - seeing parts of the country we haven't seen before and enjoying the good company and delicious food. We are a bit insulated from world news but did manage to watch the debate!

We rode in formation into El Paso down a busy main road
